You simply cannot go wrong with a bottle of Grüner Veltliner! It is light and fresh, ridiculously drinkable, and makes for a perfect wine to sip with friends. There is a soft acidity complemented with a hint of white pepper and green apple peel. It has a lovely herbaceousness that fits the lightness of this easy, dry white! Pair with fried foods, grilled sausages, fresh cheeses and grilled vegetables.
