Zaha Zaha Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 750ml

A Cabernet Sauvignon from Paraje Altamira, aged in 20% new French barrels. Purplish red in the glass. The nose delivers black currant and cherry and hints of pepper and red currant. Moderate and precise in the mouth; gentle tannins that still have a degree of grip enlivened by a measured acidity that frees up the wine’s energy to add to the depth and lengthen the fruity finish. Delicate and subtle but not very complex.

This robust red is filled with concentrated dark plum and blackberry flavors that turn creamy and rich-tasting midpalate. Chocolate tart accents fill the lively finish, which is backed by firm acidity and tannins. Drink now through 2025. 1,000 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.
