Deep garnet with brick highlights. Intensely complex aromatics of dried black cherries, pressed violets, cedar, cardamom, leather, and dark cocoa. Full-bodied, ethereal, and seamless on the palate, offering concentrated flavors of dried red berries, plum preserve, exotic spices, and crushed mineral undertones. Located in the hills of Negrar in the Valpolicella Classico zone, the legendary estate founded by Giuseppe Quintarelli is widely regarded as the ultimate benchmark for traditional Amarone. Without a commercial website or flashy marketing, the family-run winery continues to operate with uncompromising patience and artisanal precision—harvesting grapes by hand, slowly drying them on wooden mats (appassimento), and aging the wines for seven years in large Slavonian oak barrels to achieve extraordinary depth, balance, and longevity.
